Judge Carlton Reeves issued an order yesterday in the United States’ lawsuit against Mississippi over the state of its mental health system. “In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, the status conference scheduled in this case for April 27, 2020 at 9:00 A.M. will now be conducted by telephone. Members of the public may listen in by dialing 877-336-1829 and entering passcode 3608939#.”
Given that the Special Master in the case, Dr. Michael Hogan, was recently appointed, this hearing may provide an update on his work to date.
