Wishing You the Very Best in 2021

No new year has ever been as anticipated and awaited as 2021. Although the stroke of midnight is unlikely to bring magical new beginnings, every new year brings the feeling of a fresh start.

I am not sure any words are left to describe 2020, but I did want to take a minute to say “thank you” to all of the people who helped us get through it together. Thank you to families for being open and honest about your concerns and what would be most helpful. We also appreciate you adapting to virtual training and support. We want to understand and be there for you and your family in a way that works.

A special thank you to every parent who is providing support to other parents. Thank you for how you have worked for months through COVID to provide that support. We see you. We appreciate you. We are here for you.

I am grateful to our staff for quickly adapting during unprecedented times. I’m thankful to all of our funders, partners and supporters who helped us along the way. Thank you to everyone reading this message for your encouragement.

We, like all of you, are hoping for good things in 2021. Please watch our newsletters when they resume next week and our Facebook page and website for upcoming groups and training.

And save the date for our virtual New Year Open House on Monday, January 25, 2021, at 5 p.m. The Open House will be about all of us coming together to enjoy each other’s company and to plan ways to make things better for our children.

If you would like to consider Families as Allies in your end-of-year giving plans, you can donate through our website. You can also mail donations to Families as Allies, 840 East River Place, Suite 500, Jackson, MS 39202.

We wish you and your family the very best in 2021. Thank you for being part of Families as Allies.

With warm gratitude,
