Please get your tickets and purchase your sponsorships for the 10th Annual Families as Allies Community Partnership Celebration! This warm and wonderful celebration is on Monday, January 29, 2024, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the always delightful Bravo! Italian Restaurant and Bar in Jackson’s Highland Village shopping center.
The celebration is more than just a gathering. It is a fundraiser so that, together with families and all of you, we can ensure Mississippi’s system of care for children is family-driven.
We are excited about all the good things we can accomplish together in 2024. In 2024, we at Families as Allies plan to increase our parent-to-parent support throughout the state, roll out improved tools and training for parent peer supporters and their supervisors, and train anyone interested in sustaining the work of Families as Allies into the future.
We also want to research and recommend policy changes that will help more children stay in their homes and schools, including keeping young people and others out of jail when awaiting mental health care. All of these things help ensure children will have the opportunity to reach their potential and succeed. Your donations will directly allow us to achieve these goals.
We at Families as Allies work very hard throughout the year, including writing and collaborating on many grant proposals, to sustain our organization and its work. We are grateful for every grant and contract we have. Still, unrestricted donations, such as those to our Community Partnership Celebration, allow us to spend more time directly on our mission and cover expenses that grants do not cover. If you believe in the work of Families as Allies, please buy tickets or sponsorship – or both! If you cannot join us in person, please consider a donation or buying tickets to donate for families to attend the Community Partnership Celebration.
