In Mississippi, college is an option for all, including those individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities.
The University of Southern Mississippi’s Reaching, Including, Supporting, and Educating (RISE) To The Top! is a 4-year inclusive postsecondary education program incorporating academics, employment preparation, student life, and community engagement, leading to a certificate upon completion.
The program is collaborative between the Institute for Disability Studies (IDS) and the School of Interdisciplinary Studies and Professional Development (ISPD).
