The 2021 Mississippi Trauma Informed Care Conference Planning Committee is pleased to present the VIRTUAL 2021 Mississippi Trauma-Informed Care Conference, “Building Resiliency Through the Pandemic.”

Participate in up to 8 Keynotes and 15 Breakout Sessions that encourage new coping strategies and resiliency for service providers. You’ll have an opportunity to continue your professional development and earn up to 14.25 Continuing Education Hours from multiple continuing education credentialing agencies.

For the past 7 years, several state and local agencies have joined together to host the annual Trauma Informed Care Conference. Each year, the conference has brought together over 500 diverse participants representing a wide array of service providers. This year’s theme, “Building Resiliency through the Pandemic,” was chosen to provide optimism that we will work through this difficult time by developing new coping strategies and building resiliency skills.

Resiliency is defined as the process of adapting well in the face of adversity, trauma, tragedy, threats, or significant sources of stress. Through innovative and thought-provoking sessions, it is our expectation the conference will provide information to assist attendees in working through this difficult time but also help in improving lives even in the absence of adversity.
