Today, we are working harder than ever to live into the power and possibility of using the System of Care (SOC) approach to transform the lives of children and families in our communities. We are being called to solve an increasingly complex set of challenges that cannot be solved without strengthening fragile community partnerships, realigning our partners’ goals, and smart stewarding of resources that must stretch to meet an ever-increasing need for mental health services and support. Even when our systems of care collaboratively focus on solutions and expanding opportunities for diverse populations, our need to simultaneously build and share power for this work is often unintentionally under-resourced, overlooked, or deprioritized.
