MAAC is tasked with writing a report to the legislature outlining any roadblocks that exist that prevent meaningful progress.

MDE’s Office of Special Education (OSE) will host the Time is Right Special Education Conference June 19-21, 2024, at the Jackson Hilton. The conference will feature fantastic speakers and breakouts to support anyone who impacts students with disabilities. There will be sessions for administrators, families, all teachers, early childhood, CTE, and service providers. Participants can earn up to 1.2 CEU credits, 10 SEMI credits, and/or 1 OSL upon MDE approval.

The Special Education Advisory Panel will meet on Wednesday, March 20, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. via zoom.
