This session supports providers in any system (for example, mental health, health, education, child protection, juvenile justice) who work with families to understand what family-driven practice is and how it benefits families, children, providers and systems as a whole. The session is interactive and gives opportunities to use and work with the concepts. Although the training is focused on providers, families are always encouraged to attend our sessions and we encourage providers to invite families to the session as well.

Mental health, just like physical health, can be nurtured in children from a very young age. This webinar gives practical tips on supporting young children’s emotional development and recognizing when young children might need more support. Resources for finding support will be discussed, as will supporting young children during crises like the COVID pandemic. This webinar is appropriate for families, anyone working with families and anyone working in systems that serve families.
