Make Your Voice Heard! Take this Survey about Behavioral Health Care in Mississippi

Do you have ideas about improving Mississippi’s mental health system? Do you think there are ways to improve substance use treatment services? Do you believe there are new or different approaches to support people with mental health or substance use disorders that no one has thought to try?

Now is the time to speak up and share your ideas!

Please complete this anonymous survey about Mississippi’s behavioral health system. You may have ideas that will help many people. We want to hear from everyone! Please share the survey, too.

Background of the survey: The Mississippi Department of Mental Health (DMH) receives federal grant money to help adults and children who have mental illnesses or substance use disorders live successfully in the community.
Because every state is different, each state can decide the best ways to use this money to make sure people dealing with mental illness or substance use get the help they need. There is a planning council, made up of people who deal with mental illness or substance use or who care about people with mental illness or substance use challenges, that helps the Department of Mental Health decide how to spend the grant money most helpfully.

This survey is from the Department of Mental Health and the Mississippi Behavioral Health Planning and Advisory Council. We want to know how you think the state should use this grant money to help adults and children with mental illness and substance use disorders live in the community.
