Join us for a community conversation about the role that Families as Allies can play in the effort to undo racism and fight discrimination.
Several years ago, Families as Allies made a decision as an organization to be deliberately thoughtful about the impact of race and racism on our actions, decisions and values. It has been an eye-opening and necessary journey. We know that we still have much to learn.
The deaths of Ahmaud Arbery and George Floyd and the worldwide protests that followed them made us very mindful of how important it is for us to hear from any and everyone who wants to share with us how we as an organization can undo racism, fight discrimination and support the civil rights of all.
We will have a virtual community conversation this Friday, June 12 at 2:30 to hear your thoughts. This conversation is open to anyone who wants to attend, but requires registration to prevent “Zoom bombers.” You can register at this link.
